TREE

Tree!

Relax nerds, she's got this!

Page 6 of "The Galactic Train" covers Inktober Day 14, 15, and 16 -- "Tree", "Relax", and "Wet."

I had to get clever with tree since there really isn't a tree on a space train, but when I was doing Inktober I looked ahead and tried to pre-plan some ideas in my mind for the next few days so I could steer the story a bit better as I drew the individual prompts.

Tree made for a nice establishing shot as they began to careen out of the atmosphere and towards the ground.

Then I had to get really clever. Kamiko relies on her ability to turn into a butterflies to save the day and manages to land them in body of water with a gentle touchdown.

Timeline-wise, this story obviously takes place after The Rabbit and the Moon. Although Kamiko and Jade (and Chang'e) have known each other before RatM, but the turning into butterflies would be something she first did in the Rabbit and the Moon.

Graphic Novel

Well, I didn't get a chance to view the Createspace printed version of the graphic novel. So that's only hold till I get home in January.

Coloring Book

I'm mostly focusing on the coloring book at the moment.

It's out and on Amazon right now. It's also $2 off, so get it while Amazon has it on sale!

If you want to view sample pages check out the press kit here on This Mortal Coil.

I've drop shipped copies of the book for review by various friends and coloring enthusiasts but I think most of those folks don't have the book in their hands yet. I hope the extra reviews help spread the word about the Lolita Fashion Coloring Book.

I also did an interview with Coloring Queen. I talk about my process and inspiration for this coloring book and This Mortal Coil.

Alexandra Heep has also done a review of Lolita Fashion on her website and on Amazon.

Don't forget, if you purchased the book, please leave a review. Every little bit helps!

That's all for now. If you're enjoying the comic or would love to talk to me leave me a comment below or hit me on social media. Links are below.

Till next week!
