BORK BORK BORK!
bak bak bak!
barkity bark bark barkity!
The two-head monstrous dog thing reveals himself! Now we can fight 'im!
This week there was a Twitter hashtag #samecharacter.
Do you know how long I've been drawing Kamiko?
Too long. Okay, a decade.
I used an online app called Canva to produce this image. There's a Twitter post size template and then I used one of the square images and created a grid layout. From there you can upload images by dragging and dropping them into Canva and then dragging them onto the grid to replace images.
Once I learned the basics (through trial and error) it was easy-peasy.
Time consuming, because I spent a lot of time moving images around to get an okay-ish design.
I created a second #samecharacter image for my other original character, Catherine:
The Mechanical Bird Website
This week I also started working on some stuff for The Mechanical Bird.
I decided it was high time my novella series got a website: mechanicalbirdtales.com
There's not much there, but I want to use it to host some splash images of the novella and an online preview that you can read for book 1 and 2 -- I can only do previews since they're Kindle Unlimited books, and that means I can only distribute 10% of the text for free (that's the agreement with Amazon).
But, I'd like to use the website to host other short stories in the Mechanical Bird universe, worldbuilding notes, and artwork. I'll also eventually add a newsletter component -- it'll probably mirror whatever's on the blog.
